Berepper Barns are situated in the heart of the village of Gunwalloe and are a stone's throw from the spectacular Cornish coastal path and award-winning Halzephron Inn. Situated on the edge of the Penrose Estate, you can enjoy miles of walks along the coastal path, through beautiful woodland, across fields and around Loe Pool, the largest fresh water lake in Cornwall. There are four beautiful beaches within an easy walk of the cottages, three of which are dog-friendly all year round, and Church Cove, which is life-guarded through the summer months.

Across the road from the cottages is the local children's park where you will find swings, slide, climbing equipment, goal posts and a zip wire.

Situated close to the market town of Helston, Berepper Barns are just a short drive from the famous Kynance Cove and within easy reach of the North Coast, St Michaels Mount, Helford River and fishing villages of Porthleven, St Ives and Falmouth which all offer a host of culinary delights.
Porthleven is a lovely fishing village which is a beautiful 1 hour 15 minute walk from Berepper Barns. It has many lovely shops, markets, local artwork and is also a great place to surf. Porthleven is also famous for its incredible storm in 2014 where 30 ft waves battered the harbour.

Gunwalloe is also featured on the Poldark series. Ross & Demelza Poldark were married at Church Cove and the doctors house is just below the cottages on the cliff path. Dollar Cove has also featured in the series. The last day of filming for the next series was filmed at Church Cove.
